Position: Marketing Executive

This will be a perfect fit for individuals who are looking to take the next step in their marketing career. As Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for working with the Director of Sales & Marketing to strategise, create and analyse Pulsar’s marketing activities and provide marketing support to other Pulsar offices and the worldwide distributor network as required.

We are looking for an individual with a flexible attitude, strong independent work ethic and self-motivation for completing tasks. Previous experience in marketing is essential as you will be the main-driver in Pulsar’s marketing activities.

The Marketing Executive role includes:

  • Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, to help manage the marketing expenditure to ensure the best ROI is achieved for all marketing activities.
  • Ensuring that all Pulsar’s branding is consistent within traditional and digital marketing communications and delivers the company’s key messages.
  • Copy writing, designing and proof reading all marketing materials.
  • Creating and posting interesting and accurate content on Pulsar’s website, social media platforms (Linkedin, Twitter, YouTube), online directories and distributor newsletters.
  • Using Adobe Indesign and Photoshop to create eye-catching advertisements, social media graphics, literature, newsletters and other marketing materials.
  • Monitoring and continuing to improve SEO activities on Pulsar’s website by analysing data within Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Liaising and co-ordinating with external marketing agencies that provide graphic design, PR and technical article writing support.
  • Scheduling and managing Pulsar’s presence at exhibitions and events with occasional travel within the UK and overseas to set-up, man and de-rig the stands.
  • Photographing and editing product photos for marketing materials.
  • Providing marketing and administrative support for the Sales Team during day-to-day activities and quarterly sales meetings.

Required qualifications/experience: Qualification in a marketing related degree, CIM or equivalent is desirable. Previous experience within a marketing role is essential. Candidate must be IT literate (such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and have some graphic design experience (Adobe Indesign, Photoshop).
Required licence or certification: Full drivers licence

Position: Service Engineer

Pulsar Process Measurement Ltd are award-winning British manufacturers and suppliers of non-contacting level and flow measurement equipment which utilise, amongst others, ultrasonic and radar technologies. Our products are used worldwide in a variety of industries such as water, wastewater, mining, food production and chemical storage. We are currently recruiting for a full time Service Engineer to join our Customer Support Team.

Established in 1997, the company has grown to employ over 120 members of staff in the UK and operates worldwide through regional offices in Florida, USA; Kuala Lumper, Malaysia and Shanghai, China.

Job Role
Reporting to the Customer Support Manager and based from Pulsar’s head office in Malvern, Worcestershire, you will be required to provide internal and onsite services to include technical support, commissioning, maintenance and repair of all Pulsar products.

You will be required to provide technical support on all Pulsar products to Pulsar Sales Staff, distributors both in the UK and overseas, this support will be undertaken via telephone, email and other media.

As part of your role, you will be required to travel widely throughout the UK, visiting customer premises, which may result in overnight stays away from home. Some foreign travel may also be needed on occasions.

Qualities
To succeed in this role you will need to possess good communication skills, both over the telephone and person to person. You will need to be confident, reliable, committed and possess good fault-finding and problem solving skills.

Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows based programmes are necessary.

A formal qualification in Electrical/Electronics is preferred and experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential. Full product training will be provided to the successful candidates.

Position: Production Technician

Working within our production team, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, repair and the completion of test reports, on a wide range of existing and new products from component level to complete assembly, in accordance with the Company’s ISO 9001 certification.

Position: Regional Sales Manager

Region: Central US (Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, & Wisconsin)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is looking for a great opportunity to develop swiftly into the Regional Sales Manager role. A high level of support and training will be given to development of the chosen candidate into this RSM role, and to get an in depth understanding of our technologies and product offerings. It will be home based position, with expectations of 50% travel. Some prior instrumentation and/or sales experience is preferred. Experience in the WWW and IND markets is a plus.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong communication skills, especially the ability to listen to customer's needs and develop and offer solutions in a direct manner.
  • Customer focused mindset with the ability to respond quickly to customer needs with a proactive, results oriented approach.
  • Must have strong ability to self-initiate tasks and set goals

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER ROLL/DUTIES

The successful candidates key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage, provide leadership, and build relationships with Local Representatives in the Central United States area (IL, OH, IN, IA, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, ND, SD, & WI).
  • Ensure representatives receive ongoing product training, and product updates.
  • Recruit new representatives in vacant and underperforming areas.
  • Accompany representatives on client visits.
  • Presenting the companies technologies to a wide audience, ranging from end users, up to engineers and senior management-level.
  • Work with representatives to identify and secure market share in new and emerging markets.
  • Proactively set financial goals, sales targets and objectives for each area.
  • Provide technical product support, both onsite and via satellite connection to representatives and end users.
  • Attending regional exhibitions to promote our family of products.
  • This position requires approximately 50% travel, as needed.

Full product and sales training will be provided, as required. Support in the area will be provided by National Sales Manager and other Regional Sales Managers. Expenses will be reimbursed for all business activities, and business tools will be provided.
