The fixed SandAlert is available as a wall or rack mount options or portable device providing alarms and reports.
SandAlert is easy to operate and requires no calibration to flow rate. as soon as the sensor is clamped to the outside of the pipe it provides a measurement of flow rate. Because the system is not affected by flowrate it is particularly suitable for multi-phase flows.

Pulsar has developed sophisticated soft algorithms that analyse complex acoustic waveforms automatically. Alarms are generated at user-definedlevels of sand production and a milliamp output proportional to sandflow level is produced. Communications via RS485 Modbus is included.
By calibrating the signal against known sand flow levels a measurement of sand flow within the pipeline can be derived.
