Pulsar's Ultra range features 12 pre-programmed tank shapes including; cylindrical, rectangular, conical base, pyramid base, sloped base and horizontal with parabolic or spherical ends. Other shapes can be accommodated through the 32 point linearisation function.
These transducers and controllers can be used on liquids or solids materials up to 50m in range.
The Ultra 5 controller features volume calculations based on a wide variety of pre-programmed tank shapes, so Dover Docks staff can read the contents of the vessel without having to convert themselves. In addition, the units provide alarm signals to indicate that the tanks require refilling and to warn of a high level during tanker fill.
