Open Channel Flow Applications

Ultra 3&5 are can be configured to make flow calculations to BS3680. Teamed with the
dBMACH3 transducer both instruments offer excellent resolution, ease of setup and zero blanking distance beyond its 70mm nosecone.
Ultra 3&5 work with all commonly used PMD (Primary Measurement Device) and in the 5-relay version can accept an analogue input from a velocity sensor so that it can perform velocity x height calculations and determine flow in areas with no PMD. Either unit can also be extended to provide full datalogging and digital communications functions.
CSO Monitoring
Combined sewer overflow (CSO) monitoring is a specialised application requiring low power non-contacting instrumentation with data logging capability.
